Tested it on my old Nikon SLR and the flash fired reliably every time, even with batteries that were almost dead. For a simple manual hotshoe it does exactly what it needs to without any fuss.

The 90-day warranty gave me peace of mind buying used, and the hotshoe connection is rock solid on my camera. Flash output is consistent shot after shot.

I’ve been using this on my Pentax K1000 and the hotshoe mount is solid—no wiggle. It fires consistently every time, which is all I really need for fill light. The 90-day warranty gives a little peace of mind for a used flash.
