Ricoh GW-4 .75 groothoekconversielens

I was worried about image quality when adding a conversion lens, but the GW-4 keeps everything sharp from edge to edge. It's transformed my GR III into a genuine wide-angle setup for landscapes and architecture.

The adapter ring is a bit fiddly to screw on, but once it’s locked in place, the image quality stays super sharp even at the edges. I’ve been shooting tighter city streets and the 21mm equivalent field of view makes a huge difference for fitting entire buildings into the frame.

Snapped this on for a trip and the 21mm equivalent view made cramped interiors feel roomy. Corner sharpness holds up better than I expected for a conversion lens, though it does add noticeable bulk to the front. The adapter screws on securely with no wobble.
