Cinestill BwXX Double-X 白黒ネガフィルム 120ロールフィルム

Finally got a roll developed from a shoot in mixed indoor and outdoor light, and the contrast is gorgeous without losing detail in the shadows. Shot at box speed with no issues; the grain is pleasingly cinematic.

The 120 roll loaded smoothly and the variable speed meant I could shoot inside and outside without adjusting much. Crisp grain through the mid-tones, and it handled tungsten light better than I expected for a black and white stock.

Switching between daylight and tungsten lighting is seamless with this film—the EI flexibility really helps when shooting indoors. The 120 roll format gives nice, sharp negatives that scan beautifully. Only complaint is the price per roll feels a bit steep for a single emulsion.
