Film noir et blanc Flic Ultrapan 400 - Rouleau 120

Shooting handheld in a dimly lit bar without a flash, this 400-speed roll soaked up what little light there was and still kept its shadows nice and open. The grain is pleasingly chunky for street work, and the exposure latitude gave me plenty of breathing room even when I guessed wrong.

The exposure latitude on this 400-speed panchromatic film handled some tricky backlit scenes surprisingly well for the price. I’ve been shooting it in overcast afternoons and the grain stays tight and pleasing. Really happy with how the negatives came out in my developer.

Finally had a chance to test this in a dimly lit jazz club, and the latitude is incredible—I got usable negatives from shadows to the stage lights. Grain is present but adds a nice classic texture, not distracting. Perfect for pushing a stop or two when you need extra speed.
