Revolog 600nm 120 Special Effects Film

The monochrome effect from this film is surprisingly nuanced; how the lab scans it really changes the final look. I shot a roll in mixed daylight and the resulting deep red tones gave everything a moody, cinematic feel.

I've been experimenting with different scanner settings for these negatives and the monochromatic color shift is really unique—changing the exposure gives totally different moods. The film handles a wide range of lighting surprisingly well for a specialty stock.

The color shift is so consistent across the whole roll, and I love that how it looks changes completely based on my scanner settings. Played with both a lab scan and my own Epson, got two totally different moods from the same shots. Definitely a fun one for experimental days.
